At a meeting last November, the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) admitted that there is a general lack of definitive criteria in determining if a product is truly “green.” The Federal agency recommended the establishment of definable metrics to determine green standards followed by documented substantiation from reputable third-party, private sector sources.
